I said that’s fine, but you’re the only one that knows I lied.
(So am I close to you anymore now that it’s over?
and there’s no chance that we’ll work it out…)

raelsun replied to your post: the inability to turn off love.

It is the majority to love even when it hurts, and anyone who says otherwise is selling something.

It’s been my experience to be the one that loves when it’s hurting. It seems so easy for those around me to find a way for their love to be turned off.

the inability to turn off love.

it’s a crippling trait, albeit one I would think is a natural state of being. Who is taught to stop loving, how does one know when to pull away and kill off these familiar feelings of comfort that only one other person can elicit?

i’ve never understood this phenomenon, and the easiness that seems to come with it for those involved. I will never be one of the majority when it comes to matters of the heart, I will continue loving even though it hurts, i will continue hurting because it’s the only way to stay true to how I feel when no one else is honest about their feelings.

Morning will come, and i’ll do what’s right.

Ellie Goulding- Wish I Stayed

This is the most perfect and beautiful performance of this song I have ever seen. She is just amazing. This song hits and stays with you your whole life. Thank you for existing Ellie!

Cause… you… can… FALL if you want to, it’s just a matter of how far.

now i plan on laying in my bed and listening to sad songs on repeat.

i hate emotions, and being such a victim to them.

Breaking Up

“Guys always say great things about their girlfriends until they are broken up”

I remember hearing those very words on an episode of ‘Boy Meets World’ before, and as I grew up, I think I realized the how truthful those words seemed to be. It’s as if when two people break up, an monster of hatred is released where we finally have this ability to find every flaw and horrendous word to describe someone that that once loved endlessly. And if the truth really did come out once a relationship finally ceases to end, you have to wonder why so many people were together in the first place. Maybe you try to be angry at these people who once were your everything to get over them quicker. Or maybe you stop being so blinded by love to realize things you have never noticed before. But it’s sad isn’t it, that someone that we once only had great things to say about can turn into the enemy in a quick second.
It’s always going to be difficult saying goodbye to someone who even for a second thought forever was a possibility with. I think that it’s important to remember you fell in love with someone for a reason. And just because it end doesn’t mean you have to stop loving them. Sometimes it just doesn’t work out, and that’s the way it is. And for however short of time it was, they made you believe in something amazing. They made you believe in happiness, love, and allowing yourself to trust another person enough to be vulnerable enough in a place to get hurt. And in the end if it doesn’t work out, shouldn’t all we want is to see a smile of pure happiness on the other persons face? The smile that you always wished you were able to give them but wasn’t ever the one who would be able to do it? Because doesn’t just tell you after a break up, there is still someone out there that might be able to put that exact smile on your face?

to satisfy someone.
